Thinking about Society

In this video series, we explore fundamental themes in sociology to develop a critical understanding of the social world. Each video can be useful for exploring central theories and concepts from both classical and contemporary sociologists. Through contemporary events, interviews and documentaries, you will be invited to reflect on issues such as social inequality, institutions, identity, power, culture and social change. This session will seek to encourage the use of the sociological imagination to analyze everyday life, highlighting the importance of sociology in understanding social relations and the structure of society.
