Clicksmaps HeatMap and AD Tracking Tool

clicksmap.com Client Side Application that loads up to your root folder is now available as a Joomla component and mambot for Joomla 1.0.+.

Therefore instead of loading the Client Side APP to your root server you simply load up to component/mambot insert the API-KEY in the backend of the component, test that the activation is success and start monitoring the behaviour on the site using the Heatmap, clicksmap and ADs tracking tool within a few hours.

Heatmap and Clicksmap provided for each and every page on a website, unique development to cater specifically with non SEF friendly URLs configuration.

In order to determine click position more precisely it is optional for the user to specify layout type of the site.

These sites could be pages with 100% stretch content or with fixed areas with left or right menus, etc.

The user would install a client-side application also and not just a ‘5 line php’ .js code in the template, this is necessary to record more precisely the number of clicks and locations.

Installation details for joomla 1.0+ extensions:

clicksmap.com ClientAPP component

This component is designed to track clicks and visits of your Joomla! site.
Note: it works only with clicksmap mambot; it is useless without it.

Instalation and utilization

1. Just install it as regular component
2. Check that clicksmap.com mambot is installed
3. Check if ./cache folder in the root of your Joomla! exists and writable
4. You must have an account at clicksmap.com and your site must be added and enabled for tracking.
5. Get the clientapp API-KEY for your site from clicksmap.com.
6. Open clicksmap component settings in admin panel and update API-KEY.
7. Open your site's main page and add testcm=1 parameter to your site's URL. If it alerted SUCCESS everything done well, if not most likely it will say you what is wrong. Fix it and try again

clicksmap.com ClientAPP mambot

This mambot is designed to track clicks and visits of your Joomla! site. Just install and enable it in mambots section of your Joomla's! admin panel.
Note: it works only with com_clicksmap component; it is useless without it.
